MTG Trashes Trump’s Tariffs, Argues In Favor Of Illegal Alien Construction Workers
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) has once again criticized President Donald Trump, this time targeting his policies on tariffs and immigration.
In an interview with comedian Tim Dillon, Greene claimed that Trump’s tariff strategy primarily benefits “crypto donors.” She said that while many manufacturing companies support the president’s long-term goals, they are struggling with supply issues caused by tariffs.
Greene argued that ordinary Americans have not seen relief under these policies, saying, “Has the stress come off? No, that has not happened yet. It shouldn’t be about helping your crypto or AI donors, or welcoming people who once opposed you.”
The congresswoman, who has recently received favorable coverage from some left-leaning media outlets, went on to accuse Trump of neglecting his core supporters. She said the president should focus on “the people that showed up at the rallies… in the rain, in the cold, in the 100-degree heat,” emphasizing that those voters are not being served.
During the same conversation, Greene also questioned the president’s immigration approach, suggesting that some undocumented workers should be allowed to fill labor gaps in industries like construction.
“As a business owner, I know we need a smarter plan than just rounding up every single person and deporting them,” she said, acknowledging the criticism her stance might attract.
Her remarks come days after she blamed Republicans for the ongoing government shutdown—an unusual position that has earned her rare praise from Democrats and liberal commentators.
