Meghan Markle Makes Heartbreaking Confession About Archie And Lilibet
Even royalty can’t escape the deep ache of a mother’s heart.
In her new Netflix series With Love, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, shared a personal struggle: the pain of being separated from her children, Archie and Lilibet.
The 43-year-old revealed that during one extended trip, she was apart from them for nearly three weeks. “I was not well,” she said quietly. “It changes you when you can’t hold your babies every day.”
Since stepping back from royal duties in 2020, Meghan and Prince Harry have built a quieter life in California. Yet their hearts remain divided between the family they left in the UK and the home they’ve created in the U.S.
She even admitted to missing small comforts from her previous life, like Magic FM, a British radio station she loves — jokingly called “a grandma station” by a guest.
Beneath her humor, Meghan’s words capture a universal truth: love and distance are never easy for parents. Harry has written about the same longing, saying, “For days, we couldn’t stop hugging the children.”
No matter one’s title or life circumstances, a mother’s peace is inseparable from the presence of her children.
