The Late Financier’s Brother Reacts to Newly Released Emails Linking Jeffrey Epstein to Donald Trump

Jeffrey Epstein’s emails have resurfaced, reigniting scrutiny over Donald Trump’s past associations. Newly released messages, obtained by House Democrats, hint at possible ties between the disgraced financier and the former president. Epstein’s brother, Mark, is now speaking publicly for the first time about the matter.

Photographs from February 12, 2000, show Trump and then-girlfriend Melania Knauss with Epstein and British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, highlighting a connection that continues to draw attention.

Mark Epstein told Newsweek that he wouldn’t be surprised if more damaging emails involving Trump exist, though he offered no confirmation and declined to comment on journalist Michael Wolff’s analysis.

A key email from April 2, 2011, refers to Trump as “the dog that hasn’t barked” and mentions that an unnamed victim spent “hours at my house with him.” The email came as the British press was beginning to expose Epstein’s secretive and elite circle. It is part of a trove of over 23,000 documents submitted to House Democrats, with victim information redacted but implications remaining concerning.

Other emails raise further questions. In December 2015, as Trump’s campaign gained traction, Wolff advised Epstein on handling potential questions from CNN, suggesting political leverage could be gained depending on Trump’s statements.

A January 2019 email, sent while Trump was in the White House, hints that Epstein believed Trump had knowledge of Epstein’s activities, though context is unclear.

Trump responded by dismissing the controversy on Truth Social and through his press team, emphasizing that Epstein was removed from Mar-a-Lago due to being “a pedophile and a creep.” With thousands of emails still unexamined, observers remain uncertain about what further revelations may emerge.
