Meghan Markle speaks out on ‘professional separation’ from Prince Harry

Meghan Markle has spoken candidly about her growing list of solo ventures, addressing ongoing speculation about her and Prince Harry’s “professional separation.” Her latest interview, published on 19 November, adds further weight to the idea that the couple are pursuing increasingly independent career paths.

Rumors began circulating last year, when a source told Hello! that Harry and Meghan had always taken on individual projects while still supporting their shared mission through their charity, Archewell. The insider insisted the pair remained united in their joint goals.

In her new conversation with Harper’s Bazaar, Meghan reflected on the work she has built since stepping back from royal duties in 2020. The publication describes her as crafting a career that feels true to her own identity, from Netflix and Spotify deals to her successful lifestyle series and her growing brand, As Ever.

Meghan explained that she values collaboration and the sense of community that comes with her work, adding that dedication is part of her nature. She believes that a person’s work ethic shows up in all areas of life, whether planning school events, helping friends, or running a business.

The Duchess also discussed balancing motherhood with her busy schedule. Working from home allows her to stay close to her children, and she shared that her daughter Lilibet often joins her during meetings.

Meghan noted that stepping into the public spotlight strengthened her personal boundaries, helping her learn to protect her well-being while navigating constant change and growth.

Looking ahead, Harry will make his first full appearance in her Netflix series when its holiday special airs on 3 December, though he has only briefly appeared in previous promotional clips.
