Joe Rogan has scathing message for Trump as he signs Epstein files bill into law
President Donald Trump signed a bill on 19 November that will release all unclassified Department of Justice files related to Jeffrey Epstein.
Trump had faced mounting pressure to make the documents public, following his campaign promise during the 2024 election to do so.
Until now, the administration had only gradually shared information about Epstein, who died by suicide in prison in 2019. The DOJ had previously stated no further files would be released, despite claims from former Attorney General Pam Bondi that the FBI had delivered “thousands of pages” for review.
Trump previously dismissed the files as a “hoax” orchestrated by Democrats, claiming they were used to distract from their political failures and internal disarray.
However, after Congress passed the Epstein Files Transparency Act, Trump reversed his stance and signed the legislation, requiring the DOJ to release all unclassified documents within 30 days.
Podcast host Joe Rogan reacted to the announcement, questioning the sudden shift. He highlighted Trump’s contradictory claims, noting that the president had previously insisted no files existed and accused the administration of “gaslighting” the public.
Rogan emphasized the significance of the files, calling them a long-standing issue that people expected Trump to address, and criticized the administration for creating confusion about the existence and release of the documents.
