Donald Trump Jr. opens up about his breakup with Kimberly Guilfoyle, describing their bond as unique
Kimberly Guilfoyle and Donald Trump Jr. quietly ended their long-term relationship in the fall of 2024. The split involved no public drama, simply two prominent figures choosing different paths while remaining on good terms.
The breakup only became known months later, by which time both had moved forward personally and professionally. Despite parting ways, they continue to speak highly of one another.
Trump Jr., 47, finally addressed the separation in December 2024, telling Page Six that he and Guilfoyle “will always have a unique bond” and that he deeply respects her. He also praised her new role as U.S. Ambassador to Greece, a position she was nominated for by President-elect Donald Trump ahead of his second term.
He highlighted her background as a trusted advisor, media personality, prosecutor, and MAGA figure, adding that Greece was “getting a true star.”
Sources later confirmed that the pair had ended their engagement before the 2024 election and began dividing assets in September. The breakup was described as amicable, driven by different priorities rather than conflict. They chose not to reveal the news immediately so as not to distract from the election.
Guilfoyle and Trump Jr. began dating in 2018 after years of friendship and got engaged in 2022. They remained politically aligned and were frequent fixtures at conservative events. Even after the split, both continue their involvement in the MAGA movement.
Trump Jr. is now reportedly dating Palm Beach socialite Bettina Anderson, while he continues raising his five children from his previous marriage. Though no longer together, he and Guilfoyle share mutual respect as they enter new chapters.
