Trump reveals plans for next White House renovation project to remove ‘Biden filth’ following $300,000,000 ballroom
Former President Donald Trump has continued to defend his White House renovation projects while taking aim at President Joe Biden.
Last month, Trump stirred controversy when construction began to dismantle the historic East Wing to make space for a massive new ballroom.
According to officials, the plan involves “modernizing” and enlarging the area to build a 90,000-square-foot ballroom that could host around 650 guests. The project carries an estimated $300 million price tag.
Trump argued the overhaul was necessary, saying the design would be unlike anything seen before and calling the future ballroom one of the world’s finest. He added that removing the existing structure was required to complete the expansion correctly.
In a new post on Truth Social, Trump revealed he intends to make additional changes, this time targeting the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool—while criticizing Biden in the process.
Trump shared a black-and-white clip of the pool being cleaned and claimed that the “Biden filth and incompetence” visible there would soon disappear. The video closed with the slogan “make D.C. beautiful again.”
Details surrounding the cost and timeline of the Reflecting Pool project have not yet been released.
Previously, the White House defended the ballroom construction by citing space limitations, noting that the East Wing could only fit about 200 people, forcing the use of large exterior tents for major events. Renderings show an expansive hall with ornate gold décor, chandeliers, and a highly detailed ceiling.
