Prince Louis leaves royal fans shocked over rare ‘grown-up’ detail

Kate Middleton hosted her annual Together at Christmas carol service at Westminster Abbey on Friday, 5 December, drawing a large crowd of well-known guests and royal fans.

Prince William attended the festive event with Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, delighting onlookers who were eager to see how much the royal children have grown.

A number of celebrities filled the Abbey, including Kate Winslet, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Eugene Levy, Katie Melua, and Mary Berry. Guests enjoyed traditional carols, musical performances, and a Bible reading delivered by the Prince of Wales.

Despite the star-studded lineup, it was the young royals who captured most of the public’s attention. Many fans were especially shocked by how much seven-year-old Prince Louis has matured.

Kate mentioned to Dan Smith from Bastille that her children look forward to the service every year, calling it a meaningful family tradition. During the evening, the three children added loops of red paper—each signed with their names—to a “Connection Tree,” symbolising unity and meaningful relationships.

A close-up photo of the tree revealed Louis’ handwriting, which many described as surprisingly neat and “grown-up” for his age. Later on, the royal siblings were seen holding candles during the service, further showcasing how much Louis resembles both his brother George and his mother Kate.

Social media users were quick to comment, with many noting Louis’ height, mature expressions, and growing confidence. Some even joked about his stylish double-breasted jacket and predicted he might develop a strong interest in fashion as he grows older.
