Trump reveals bizarre details about Melania’s ‘panties’ while discussing FBI search of his residence
Donald Trump raised eyebrows this week after making an unusually personal remark about First Lady Melania Trump during a political rally.
The 79-year-old president was speaking to supporters in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, on Friday, 19 December, while campaigning ahead of the 2026 midterm elections, when his speech took an unexpected turn.
While discussing government policy and inflation, Trump suddenly revisited the FBI’s 2022 search of his Mar-a-Lago estate, drifting far from his original talking points.
Recalling the incident, he told the crowd that agents searched his wife’s closet and drawers, before launching into a detailed comment about Melania’s organisation habits.
Trump claimed the first lady is extremely meticulous, saying her underwear is folded and wrapped with precision, and even suggesting that it is steamed beforehand.
The search itself took place in August 2022 as part of an investigation into presidential records improperly stored at Mar-a-Lago, following concerns raised by the National Archives.
During the operation, the FBI recovered 11 sets of classified documents, including materials marked top secret. Trump was later indicted in June 2023 but pleaded not guilty, and the case was dismissed in July 2024.
Despite the serious legal background, the rally ultimately left many focused less on politics and more on Trump’s surprising comments about Melania’s laundry habits.
