Trump Draws Attention to a Strength Biden Has That He Admits He Doesn’t Have
Former President Donald Trump recently appeared on The Ingraham Angle on Fox News, where he surprised viewers by offering an unusual compliment to his longtime political rival, President Joe Biden.
During the interview, host Laura Ingraham asked Trump, now 78, about his late-night social media activity and how he handles sleeplessness. Trump admitted he often struggles to fall back asleep once awake.
He contrasted this with Biden, saying the president appears to fall asleep effortlessly, especially during beach vacations. Trump described watching Biden lie down near the shore and drift off within minutes.
Trump jokingly called it “the one thing” he truly admired about what he referred to as “sleepy Joe Biden.” Though the comment carried a familiar nickname, Trump sounded genuinely impressed, adding that he himself could never manage that.
The praise, however, was brief. Trump quickly shifted back to criticism, calling Biden a failure and attacking the current administration, while brushing off concerns about his own sleep habits.
Trump said he has long functioned on limited rest, noting that people deeply committed to their work often don’t sleep much. His former physician once stated that Trump regularly slept only four to five hours per night while in office.
Trump’s late-night posts frequently drew attention, while Biden was often seen relaxing with family at Rehoboth Beach. Trump has previously mocked those trips, joking at a 2023 rally about Biden’s time spent by the ocean.
@foxnews Say what you want about former President Biden, but his ability to sleep is unmatched, according to President Trump.
