Film Star Dies After Being Found Unconscious in Pool
French actor Nadia Fares has died at the age of 57 after being found unconscious in a swimming pool at a private gym in Paris.
She reportedly suffered cardiac arrest and later fell into a coma. She passed away days later at Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital.
Fares was best known for her role in The Crimson Rivers and also appeared in films such as War and Storm Warning. She later gained attention on television in the Netflix drama Marseille.
Her daughters confirmed the sad news, saying France had lost a great artist, but they had lost their mother.
Authorities have opened an investigation, though officials say there is currently no sign of foul play.
Her daughter Cylia also shared an emotional tribute online, calling her mother her role model and best friend.
