Young Footballer’s Sudden Death Leaves Club in Mourning

Romanian football has been left heartbroken after the sudden death of 19-year-old Luca Manolache. The young player, who had previously been connected with Steaua Bucharest and later played for Metaloglobus București, had stepped away from football after a series of troubling health problems.

In the months before his death, Luca reportedly suffered from serious symptoms, including extreme tiredness, dizziness, chills, and other worrying health issues. During one match, his condition became so concerning that an ambulance was called after he complained that his vision had gone dark.

On February 28, Luca began feeling unwell while he was out with a family member. As his condition worsened, emergency help was called. Reports said he spoke to his mother by phone during his final moments, asking if she thought he was dying.

His mother, Ana, rushed to the hospital in Targoviște, Romania, but was told on the way that her son had passed away. Reports later said his death was linked to a severe medical episode involving stomach acid and internal complications.

Metaloglobus București shared an emotional tribute, saying the club was shocked and deeply saddened by the loss. They remembered Luca for his love of football, his smile, and the joy he brought to the pitch. The club also sent heartfelt condolences to his family during the devastating time.
