A mother and her three children were killed in a tragic crash on BR-060 in Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil.

The victims were identified as Drielle Leite Lopes and her children, Helena, 10, João Lúcio, 2, and José Augusto, who was only 3 months old.

The accident happened on Sunday night between Sidrolândia and Campo Grande.

According to the report, the family had visited Drielle’s mother to share happy news: they had recently bought their own home.

The trip ended in tragedy when a Corsa driver reportedly attempted to overtake a truck, hit the side of the heavy vehicle, and then collided with the Saveiro carrying Drielle and her children.

The wake was held at the City Council building in Sidrolândia, where relatives, friends, and residents gathered to say goodbye.
