Donald Trump’s second
Marla Maples gained national attention during the 1990s because of her marriage to Donald Trump. Following their divorce, she chose a quieter lifestyle and devoted much of her time to raising their daughter, Tiffany Trump.
Born on October 27, 1963, in Cohutta, Maples spent her childhood in a small community that she has often described as warm and supportive. During high school, she participated in sports and earned the title of homecoming queen.
After graduation, she enrolled at the University of Georgia to study marketing. However, she left before completing her degree to pursue opportunities in New York City.
Maples first met Trump in the mid-1980s while he was still married to Ivana Trump. As their relationship became public, it attracted significant media attention and public discussion.
The growing publicity surrounding their relationship created challenges for everyone involved. Following the end of Trump’s first marriage, the couple openly continued their relationship.
In December 1993, Maples and Trump married in a high-profile ceremony at the The Plaza Hotel. That same year, they welcomed their daughter, Tiffany.
Before the wedding, Maples signed a prenuptial agreement that outlined financial arrangements in case of divorce. After their marriage ended in 1999, she largely stepped away from the spotlight, focusing on family life and personal interests.
