The joke quickly went viral before Grande deleted it. While many saw the remark as lighthearted, Davidson later admitted he didn’t appreciate it.

In a Netflix interview, he explained, “I don’t like that she talked all that stuff about me.” Though the moment has long passed, it remains an example of how small jokes in celebrity relationships can echo for years.
