Partner of Suspect Vanishes, Raising Quest

The partner of a Utah man linked to a widely publicized shooting has reportedly disappeared from their shared condominium.

Lance Twiggs, 22, has been missing for over a week, even though his car and personal belongings remain inside the unit. Neighbors noted that lights continue to shine and mail is piling up outside, creating a sense of mystery.

Twiggs, who works part-time as a plumber, drew attention following the arrest of Tyler Robinson, 22, who faces charges related to the shooting.

Speculation has arisen that Twiggs may possess key information, though authorities emphasize there is no evidence connecting him directly to the incident.

An FBI source described Twiggs as a “cooperating human source,” suggesting he could be a vital witness. Officials have hinted that he might even qualify for federal witness protection, depending on how the investigation progresses.

Residents described both Twiggs and Robinson as private and reclusive, and many were surprised by the heavy law enforcement presence during recent searches. When questioned, Twiggs reportedly remained calm and cooperative, while agents, including FBI personnel and K-9 units, conducted a thorough search of the condo without providing public explanations.

Prosecutors later released text messages indicating Twiggs may have had limited knowledge of Robinson’s actions. They stress, however, that Twiggs was not directly involved in the crime and has not faced any charges.
