A comment Donald Trump made about Karoline Leavitt’s lips during his speech

Donald Trump is facing renewed backlash after making controversial remarks about White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, comments that many listeners have described as inappropriate and unsettling.

The criticism adds to a broader pattern of Trump making disparaging or inflammatory remarks about women in the media. In recent weeks, he has repeatedly drawn attention for his language toward female journalists.

Last month, Trump insulted Bloomberg reporter Catherine Lucey during a heated exchange, calling her “piggy.” Shortly afterward, he referred to another journalist as both “nasty” and “stupid,” fueling further criticism.

Leavitt became his latest target during a campaign rally held on December 9 in Mount Pocono, Pennsylvania. Trump singled out the 28-year-old press secretary while addressing the crowd.

He praised her publicly but went on to comment on her appearance in a way many found uncomfortable, describing her face and lips while mimicking her speaking style during television appearances.

Trump then suggested her role was made easier by his administration’s policies, referencing issues such as transgender rights, women’s sports, and border control in familiar rhetoric.

Leavitt has not publicly responded to the remarks and appeared to carry on as normal, sharing posts from the event on social media. Separately, she recently spoke about her marriage and age-gap relationship on a podcast, offering candid but unrelated personal insight.
