An elderly gentleman goes for a routine check-up. After the exam, the doctor tells him, “You seem to be in good shape. Is there anything you’re worried about or want to discuss?”
“Actually, yes,” the old man replies. “After the first time I have love, I’m hot and sweaty. But when I have love with my wife the second time, I end up feeling cold and shivery.”
The doctor then examines the man’s elderly wife and concludes, “You seem perfectly healthy. Do you have any concerns you’d like to bring up?”
She shakes her head, saying she has no worries. But the doctor mentions, “Your husband told me something odd. He says he’s hot and sweaty after the first time you make love, but cold and chilly after the second. Do you know why that might be?”
The old woman laughs and says, “Oh, that silly old man! The first time is usually in August, and the second time is in January!”
