Anonymous publish Donald
Hacking group Anonymous has once again targeted U.S. President Donald Trump, releasing a major data leak that allegedly exposes links between Trump and the Russian government. Known for opposing right-wing leaders and advocating for freedom of thought and privacy, Anonymous claims the information, taken from a breach of Russian administrative systems, supports their long-standing warnings about Trump and Russia. The 10-terabyte leak includes sensitive political and military data, as well as folders on influential individuals and businesses. Among them is a folder labeled “Leaked Data of Donald Trump,” which many hoped would provide concrete evidence of ties to the Kremlin.
Despite the hype, experts have downplayed the Trump files as underwhelming, offering little new information. While the leak sheds light on Russian governmental operations and could aid Ukraine’s defense efforts, the Trump-related content has so far been described as disappointing. Critics suggest Anonymous may have released everything they found without fully curating the content, resulting in a data dump that lacks impactful revelations. Although the leak is vast and potentially valuable, many feel it confirms what was already suspected rather than uncovering anything truly explosive.
