Mom who found daughter baked to death in Walmart oven shares her horror

Mandip Kaur relives the terrifying night in Halifax over and over again, searching for answers that no one seems willing to provide. In her mind, every moment of that evening replays, as if the truth might be hidden somewhere within the tragedy.

That night, Mandip and her daughter, Gursimran, were working together at a Walmart bakery, just as they had done many times before. Everything appeared normal as they carried out their routine tasks side by side.

Within a short period of time, however, the situation turned into a nightmare. Only about an hour later, Mandip found herself crying out in anguish next to her daughter’s lifeless body inside a commercial oven heated to 400 degrees.

Authorities later announced that their investigation found no evidence of foul play. Officials responsible for workplace safety also reported that the oven was functioning properly at the time.

According to labor inspectors, the oven was designed so it could be opened from the inside, and they concluded that no workplace safety regulations had been violated.

Despite these official conclusions, the case left many unanswered questions. People struggled to understand how a healthy and ambitious 19-year-old could die alone in such circumstances without a clear explanation.

For Mandip, the loss of her daughter cannot simply be closed as another finished report. Her grief has turned into a determination to keep asking questions until someone finally reveals the truth about what happened that night.
