Jimmy Kimmel savagely roasts

Before the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, comedian Jimmy Kimmel created his own mock version of the event on an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!. His “alternative” dinner featured a sharp comedy monologue aimed at President Donald Trump and his administration.

Kimmel, who previously hosted the official dinner in 2012, used the segment to criticize Trump, Melania Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and adviser Stephen Miller.

He joked that the annual dinner usually includes a comedian roasting the president, but claimed Trump avoided that tradition because he could not handle criticism. Kimmel sarcastically called him a “delicate snowflake” and a “trembling drama queen.”

This year, Trump reportedly chose mentalist Oz Pearlman instead of a comedian to lead the official dinner. Kimmel mocked that decision and suggested it was done to avoid harsh jokes from professional comics.

Standing behind a podium, Kimmel opened with jokes referencing the Trump-Epstein files and then targeted Trump directly, making fun of his ego and appearance. He also joked about Trump’s viral AI-generated Jesus image.

He continued by mocking Trump’s energy policies, turning them into wordplay about “breaking wind and passing gas.” Melania was also targeted, especially over her recent Amazon documentary, which Kimmel described as “the world’s first motionless picture.”

The routine ended with Kimmel jokingly presenting Trump with a fake “Burger King of Comedy Gold Award,” sarcastically calling him the reason comedy had become great again and finishing with a final mocking congratulations.
