Body language expert

An interview between Kristen Welker and Donald Trump became increasingly tense when the discussion turned to his claims about a “rigged” election.

Body language expert Darren Stanton suggested that Trump displayed visible signs of frustration during the exchange. According to his analysis, narrowed eyes, lowered eyebrows, and a forward-leaning posture indicated strong emotion and determination.

Stanton also noted that Trump’s hand movements and physical positioning appeared designed to assert authority and maintain control of the conversation.

As the questioning continued, Welker remained composed and repeatedly asked for supporting evidence behind Trump’s statements.

The expert argued that this steady approach gradually altered the tone of the interview. Trump’s body language reportedly shifted, with him pulling back his hands and posture, a change Stanton described as a “gestural retreat.”

Welker’s refusal to be distracted by criticism or personal remarks seemed to challenge Trump’s usual conversational approach and may have affected the balance of the discussion.

Ultimately, Trump ended the interview abruptly, referring to Welker as “darling” before leaving. Stanton interpreted the departure as a sign that Trump had become uncomfortable with the direction of the conversation and chose to exit rather than continue the debate.
