Bizarre way man

A man named Mehmet Aydın scammed people out of $130 million through a mobile farming game called Çiftlik Bank, which was especially popular in Turkey. Players believed they were investing in real livestock and farms through in-app purchases, with the promise of earning real profits. However, in 2017, users began experiencing issues withdrawing their money. Aydın quickly sold his shares, and by early 2018, the game stopped accepting new users and halted payouts. Authorities confirmed it was a scam, launching a criminal investigation as Aydın fled to Uruguay with millions.

Despite being on the run, Aydın lived lavishly and was spotted driving a Ferrari. In a surprising twist, he turned himself in to Turkish authorities in 2021, claiming he never intended to defraud anyone and that the company grew too fast to control. He said he, too, was a victim of others’ misconduct. Aydın expressed hope the Turkish legal system would prove his innocence. Upon returning to Istanbul, he had just $13 on him, despite fleeing with $80.5 million. He now faces up to 89,000 years in prison for his role in the massive fraud.
