Donald Trump breaks silence on new Epstein photo release with simple 5-word statement
President Donald Trump has responded publicly for the first time following the release of previously unseen photographs from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate, which were made public on Friday.
Two sets of images have been shared so far, many showing Epstein alongside well-known figures such as Trump, former President Bill Clinton, Woody Allen, and Richard Branson.
The photos were released by Democrats on the House Oversight Committee ahead of a looming deadline requiring the Department of Justice to disclose the full collection of Epstein-related documents.
Shortly after the images surfaced, Trump was questioned in the Oval Office and appeared unfazed. He dismissed the significance of the photos, stating that Epstein had pictures with countless people and that the images meant nothing to him.
Trump has consistently denied any connection to Epstein’s criminal activities and has often avoided detailed discussion when questioned by reporters during White House briefings.
During his 2024 presidential campaign, Trump pledged to release the Epstein files. Following congressional action earlier this year, that promise moved closer to fulfillment after lawmakers voted to make the documents public.
Although the Justice Department initially hesitated and reversed its position multiple times, Congress ultimately approved the release of the files by an overwhelming majority. Trump signed the measure into law, with the records expected to be released next week in redacted form. Despite appearing in photographs with Epstein, Trump has not been accused of any wrongdoing or formally investigated in relation to the case.
