Donald Trump Issued Chilling ‘You’ll Be The Last US President’ Warning By Russian Economist

A Russian economist, speaking on behalf of Vladimir Putin, has warned that Donald Trump could become the “last US president” if he continues issuing threats over the war in Ukraine. The statement came after Trump announced a 50-day deadline for Russia to act or face tougher sanctions.

Trump, in an interview with the BBC, expressed strong disappointment with Russia’s actions, stating, “I am disappointed with Russia,” and signaling his intent to escalate pressure if there was no progress.

In response, Russian economist Nikolay Mezhevich dismissed Trump’s deadline and warnings as empty threats. He argued that sanctions have already been imposed and would not pose a new challenge to Russia.

Mezhevich said Trump’s approach was essentially a demand for capitulation and added that if the former president truly believed his tactic was novel, he was “mistaken.”

He also suggested that military threats, including bombing Moscow, would trigger a nuclear response, noting, “The US will get a share of the non-peaceful atom in return.”

Mezhevich emphasized that Russia would not stoop to insulting or educating Trump, claiming the former president already understands the complex differences between regions like Yemen, Syria, Iran, and Russia.

He concluded that Trump needs to realize that what might have worked in conflicts involving other nations will not necessarily succeed with Russia, and any diplomatic engagement must reflect that unique dynamic.
