The diagnosis followed a recent evaluation due to increased urinary symptoms, revealing a Gleason score of 9 (Grade Group 5). Despite the aggressive nature of the cancer, it remains hormone-sensitive, allowing for potential treatment options. Biden and his family are currently consulting with medical professionals regarding the next steps.

Trump addressed the news on Truth Social, sharing that he and his wife Melania were saddened to learn of Biden’s health situation. He extended his best wishes to Jill Biden and the rest of the family, hoping for a swift recovery. Previously, in February 2023, Biden had a basal cell carcinoma removed from his chest, and in November 2021, he underwent a procedure to remove a benign but potentially precancerous colon polyp.
