Furious Donald Trump ‘cursed’ and ‘threw maps’ as he gave Zelenskyy ultimatum: report

Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met at the White House last week, but the meeting reportedly ended in chaos. Sources say the discussion between the two leaders quickly turned heated, with the U.S. president losing his temper.

The ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine was at the center of their talks. Zelenskyy had traveled to Washington to discuss further U.S. support, particularly the delivery of Tomahawk missiles. However, according to the Financial Times, the conversation turned into a shouting match when Trump refused the request.

Witnesses claim that Trump was “cursing constantly” during the meeting. He allegedly told Zelenskyy that if Ukraine didn’t agree to his terms for ending the conflict, Russian President Vladimir Putin would “destroy” the country.

Reports suggest that Trump pushed Zelenskyy to surrender the entire Donbas region as part of a peace deal. Ultimately, the U.S. agreed to back a freeze along the current frontlines instead.

Zelenskyy had hoped to secure the Tomahawk cruise missiles, but Trump reportedly said he wanted to keep U.S. stockpiles full in case of future conflicts. Publicly, Trump stated he preferred the war to end rather than send more weapons.

At one point, Trump allegedly threw a map across the table, expressing frustration with the ongoing war and saying he was “sick of it.” He reportedly remarked, “This red line, I don’t even know where this is.”

Following the tense meeting, Trump posted online: “Enough blood has been shed. Let both sides claim victory and let history decide.”
