Greta Thunberg’s brutal response to Donald Trump amid ‘anger management issues’ comment
Trump Calls Greta Thunberg a “Troublemaker”
Tensions reignited between former U.S. President Donald Trump and Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg after her deportation from Israel on Monday. Trump criticized Thunberg, labeling her a “troublemaker” and claiming she suffers from “anger management issues.”
Thunberg’s Deportation from Israel
The 22-year-old activist was among more than 100 people detained and deported for participating in the Global Sumud Flotilla to Gaza — a convoy of boats aiming to challenge Israel’s blockade of the region. Thunberg was later flown to Athens, Greece, where she was welcomed by cheering supporters.
Trump’s Harsh Remarks
Speaking about the incident, Trump mocked Thunberg, questioning why she appeared so “angry” at her age. “She’s just a troublemaker,” he said. “She has an anger management problem. I think she should see a doctor. Have you ever watched her? She’s so angry, she’s so crazy.”
A History of Clashing Views
The two have clashed publicly several times before, often trading sarcastic comments online. Trump has repeatedly criticized Thunberg’s activism, while she has responded by mocking his remarks with wit and irony.
Greta’s Scathing Response
Thunberg didn’t stay silent this time either. Taking to Instagram, she wrote, “I heard Donald Trump once again has expressed his flattering opinions on my character, and I appreciate his concerns for my mental health.”
A Sharp Comeback
She continued, “To Trump, I would kindly receive any recommendations you might have to deal with these so-called ‘anger management problems,’ since judging by your impressive track record, you seem to be suffering from them too.”
Public Reactions
Her post quickly went viral, reigniting debate between supporters of both figures. As of now, it remains unclear whether Thunberg has returned to Sweden following the incident.
