His parents called to let him know they would be sending a package.

Parents sending food and treats, whether by bus, train, or coach, is always a source of joy. However, as one college student found out, parents can sometimes have a mischievous side.

In his first year of college, shortly after arriving in Bucharest and settling into his dorm, he got a call from his parents promising to send a package. Eagerly, he went to the train station, picked up a large box, and rushed back to his dorm room. But when he opened it, he was shocked—there was no food, just trash and empty wrappers. Confused, he eventually found a note inside.

“You forgot to clean your room before you left,” it read. “Please take out the trash.”

After learning his lesson and appreciating the joke, he shared the whole story on Facebook. The post quickly went viral, gathering thousands of likes and comments.
