‘Japanese Baba Vanga’s’ previous
Ryo Tatsuki, a Japanese woman nicknamed “Japan’s Baba Vanga,” claims to have vivid dreams that predict future events. Recently, she warned of a potential disaster in 2025 involving the ocean “boiling” — believed to be a massive undersea volcanic eruption that could trigger a devastating mega tsunami. She described the impact zone as a diamond-shaped area covering Japan, Taiwan, Indonesia, and the Northern Mariana Islands. Her visions also include mysterious “dragon-like shapes” in these regions, sparking concern among her followers.
Tatsuki says she’s had premonitions since the 1980s and is credited with predicting several major events, including Freddie Mercury’s death, the 1995 Kobe earthquake, Japan’s 2011 tsunami, and the COVID-19 pandemic. She allegedly foresaw the virus in a dream, claiming it would emerge in 2020, peak in April, and reappear a decade later. Some also believe she predicted Princess Diana’s death by writing “Diana? Died?” in her diary five years before the tragedy. Despite these claims, scientists stress there’s no proof her predictions are accurate. However, experts do warn Japan is at high risk of a major earthquake, with a potential disaster along the Nankai Trough possibly displacing over a million people.
