Jeffrey Epstein introduced Donald Trump to girl, 14, court document claims

Donald Trump has been mentioned only sparingly in the newly released Epstein files, but a court record made public on Friday included a brief reference involving the former president.

Around 300,000 documents connected to Jeffrey Epstein were released on December 19. Despite the scale of the disclosure, there have been very few mentions of Trump within the material so far.

Earlier releases contained just one reference to him — his signature appearing on a novelty check. His chief of staff had previously confirmed that Trump’s name would appear somewhere in the files.

In a later batch of documents, a court filing described an alleged incident from 1990 at Mar-a-Lago. The document claims Epstein introduced Trump to a 14-year-old girl, identified only as Jane Doe, and made a remark that was described as inappropriate.

According to the lawsuit filed in 2020 against Epstein’s estate and Ghislaine Maxwell, Trump allegedly smiled and nodded during the encounter. The girl reportedly felt uncomfortable but said she was too young at the time to understand why.

The filing states the victim was groomed and abused by Epstein over several years, but it does not accuse Trump of any wrongdoing. The case was later settled with Epstein’s estate, and the same victim testified during Maxwell’s 2021 trial.

Trump has consistently denied any involvement or knowledge of Epstein’s crimes, saying their relationship ended in 2004. While images show Trump and Epstein together at past events, the documents do not allege misconduct, similar to mentions of other public figures in the files.
