John Cena opens up about

WWE icon and actor John Cena has opened up about his past skin cancer diagnosis as part of a new Neutrogena campaign encouraging sunscreen use. At 47, Cena revealed he never wore sunscreen growing up, especially after moving to sunny Florida, thinking he was immune to the risks. A visit to the dermatologist uncovered a cancerous spot on his right pec, which was successfully removed. A year later, another spot was also found and treated. Cena credits his dermatologist for guiding him through the experience and helping him manage the anxiety that came with it.

Now, Cena is using his story to raise awareness about sun protection and the importance of regular skin checkups. He emphasizes how easy it is to neglect your skin but stresses the value of taking “a few extra seconds” each day to stay protected. Grateful to have caught the cancer early, he says the experience changed his perspective. Currently, Cena is preparing for what could be his final in-ring appearance at WrestleMania against Cody Rhodes. Although he’s stepping back from wrestling, he will remain involved with WWE as an ambassador while focusing more on his acting career.
