Leaked letter from Trump’s Attorney General confirms truth about Epstein files
A newly surfaced letter contradicts Donald Trump’s claim that no official documents exist regarding Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes. The letter, written in February by Attorney General Pam Bondi to FBI Director Kash Patel, confirms that such files are indeed real.
Epstein, a disgraced financier convicted of sex trafficking minors, died by suicide in 2019. Since then, the public has called for the release of documents believed to name high-profile individuals linked to his crimes.
Despite conspiracy theories, there’s no confirmed evidence of wrongdoing by Trump, though his connection to Epstein has long been speculated. Trump recently dismissed questions about Epstein’s files, calling continued interest in the case “unbelievable.”
The leaked letter reveals that Bondi requested Epstein’s full files before Patel took office and was initially given around 200 pages, including flight logs, a list of contacts, and names of victims. She questioned whether more documents existed but was assured that was the full set.
However, a day before writing the letter, Bondi was informed that thousands more Epstein-related documents were stored at the FBI’s New York Field Office, which had not been disclosed to her.
She demanded immediate delivery of all materials related to Epstein and his associates, including recordings and documents, with no restrictions on access.
Bondi also ordered Patel to investigate why the files were withheld and to provide a report with recommended personnel actions within two weeks, emphasizing her commitment to transparency and victim privacy.
