Man who died for 45 minutes before ‘coming back

Vincent Tolman, a former bodybuilder, claims he was clinically dead for up to 45 minutes after consuming a toxic supplement he bought online in January 2003. He collapsed in a public bathroom and aspirated on his vomit, leading to his death before paramedics could revive him. Tolman recounted an extraordinary near-death experience, saying he felt like he was in a movie theater watching his own death unfold from above. He described being completely detached from his body, not recognizing it as himself.

During this surreal “movie,” Tolman said he could hear the thoughts of everyone around him, including a cook at the restaurant. He saw paramedics bagging his body and was struck by a bright light emanating from one medic’s chest. This light coincided with a powerful voice declaring, “this one’s not dead.” Prompted by this, the rookie medic broke protocol, checked Tolman again, and found a slight spark of life, leading to his eventual revival.
