Michael Bublé, 47, revealed how his life changed dramatically after his son Noah, now 9, was diagnosed with hepatoblastoma, a rare liver cancer, at the age of three. Bublé shared with Red magazine that the experience deeply affected him, altering his priorities and perspective on life. During Noah’s treatment, which included chemotherapy and radiation, Bublé felt he lost his “alter ego” as an entertainer.
Bublé, who has been married to actress Luisana Lopilato, 35, since 2011, credits their strong marriage to mutual support and prioritizing each other’s happiness. “We understand that each other’s fulfilment is more important than anything,” he said, highlighting how they balance careers and family life.
The singer told The Mirror he felt “unstable and vulnerable” during Noah’s illness, which delayed his return to music. By 2018, as Noah entered remission, Bublé gradually regained his confidence, finding joy in making music again.
Michael and Luisana share four children: Noah, Elias (7), Vida (4), and baby Cielo (5 months).
