New Names For Harry and Meghan’s Young Children Confirmed
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are launching a new chapter in their royal journey by rebranding their children’s identities as part of a broader effort to redefine their roles. Amid King Charles’ cancer diagnosis, which has led to a pause in his public appearances, Prince Harry visited his father in the UK. As reported by the Times, Archie and Lilibet will no longer use the Mountbatten-Windsor surname, instead adopting the names Archie and Lilibet Sussex. This marks a shift from the tradition established in 1960 requiring descendants to use the Mountbatten-Windsor name.
In line with their rebranding, Harry and Meghan have also updated their online presence, transitioning from Archewell.com to Sussex.com. Their new site, featuring their royal coat of arms, now serves as the official platform for “The office of Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex.” Meghan has praised the creativity of the Canadian-based designers behind the site’s fresh look. Alongside these changes, Meghan announced a new podcast deal with Lemonada Media, following the end of their Spotify agreement last year. The couple’s rebrand underscores their ongoing commitment to family unity and independence from traditional royal structures.
