Newly released picture

A recently released photo by the UAP Disclosure Fund, presented during a panel hosted by former intelligence official Lue Elizondo, has sparked debate online. Claimed to show a disc-shaped UFO taken by a civilian pilot in 2021 at 21,000 feet near the Four Corners area, the image was touted as evidence of unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP). Elizondo, who acknowledged he could not verify the image’s authenticity, stated it was taken with a standard camera. The UAP Disclosure Fund emphasized the need for declassification of similar images allegedly held by U.S. agencies.

However, social media users quickly debunked the image, arguing it does not depict a UFO but rather circular irrigation fields on Navajo Agricultural Products Industry (NAPI) land. Analysts pointed out features like crop contrast, service roads, and vegetation patterns that mimic the appearance of a disc and shadow. They cited specific coordinates and encouraged others to verify using map services. Critics accused the fund of misleading the public and damaging credible efforts for UAP transparency. Many emphasized that misidentifying familiar agricultural structures as UFOs undermines scientific inquiry and public trust.
