Police Conduct Search Connected to High-Profile Media Figure Case

Law enforcement officers searched the Tucson residence of Annie Guthrie and her husband, Tommaso Cioni, as part of the continuing effort to locate missing woman Nancy Guthrie.

According to reporting by Brian Entin of Fox News, investigators photographed areas inside the home while flashing lights could be seen through the windows during the search.

After several hours, deputies departed without confirming whether anyone had been present. Authorities say Cioni was the last known person to see Nancy after she returned from dinner the night before her disappearance.

Concern grew when she did not appear at church the following day, prompting relatives to contact police. Investigators later located blood evidence inside the residence, along with her phone and wallet, intensifying fears for her safety.

Officials also confirmed that a vehicle linked to the case was removed from the property. Meanwhile, the FBI announced a $50,000 reward for information that could lead to Nancy’s safe recovery.

Despite these findings, authorities emphasize that no suspects or persons of interest have been publicly identified, and the inquiry remains active. Evidence continues to be reviewed as detectives pursue new leads.

In a video message, Savannah Guthrie and her siblings appealed for their mother’s return, expressing hope for resolution and peace while investigators work to uncover what happened.
