Police Find Human Remains
Police discovered human remains near Taylor Swift’s Rhode Island mansion on May 14, finding what appeared to be a human leg bone just 0.3 miles away. The bone was sent for analysis, and local residents expressed shock, as such incidents are uncommon in the area. The discovery has sparked concerns amid ongoing fears of a potential New England serial killer, especially since recent remains have been found in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. Authorities, however, have not confirmed any connection between the cases.
The New England Serial Killer rumors arose after human remains of eight people, mostly women, were discovered between March and April in multiple locations. Victims include Paige Fannon, found in a river, and Michele Romano, found in a wooded area after being missing for months. Despite online speculation and the rapid spread of rumors, police have stated that there is no evidence linking these deaths, nor is there any known public threat. Connecticut State Police emphasized that the cases do not appear connected, aiming to calm public fear.
