Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco share Christmas card but people are distracted by one detail
Every Christmas, the ruling family of Monaco shares a festive photograph, and this year’s image of the Prince and Princess has already sparked plenty of attention among royal watchers.
Prince Albert II, who became Monaco’s ruler in 2005, shared the 2025 holiday card alongside his wife, Princess Charlene. The couple first met years earlier at a swimming event and married in 2011.
They later welcomed twins, Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques, who both play central roles in the annual family portrait. The image reflects the close-knit nature of the princely household.
In the latest photo, the family is gathered near a glowing fireplace, with a richly decorated Christmas tree behind them. The setting creates a warm and elegant seasonal atmosphere.
Prince Albert and Prince Jacques are dressed in coordinating navy suits, while Princess Charlene wears a long, pleated taupe gown. Princess Gabriella complements her mother in a soft pink tulle dress.
Although the royals looked polished and poised, it was not a human family member who drew the most attention. Instead, their small Chihuahua, Harley, captured fans’ hearts.
Calmly seated beside Princess Charlene and Gabriella, Harley delighted online commenters once again. The beloved dog, a regular presence in the family’s Christmas cards and public outings, continues to charm audiences everywhere.
