Prince Harry And William’s Cousin Found Dead With Gun Nearby

Rosie Roche, a cousin to Princes Harry and William and granddaughter of Princess Diana’s uncle, was found dead at age 20 in her family’s home on July 14. A firearm was located nearby, and her sudden passing has left many in shock.

Her mother and sister discovered her body as Rosie was preparing for a trip with friends. The incident occurred in Norton, Wiltshire, and police were quickly called to the scene.

Authorities confirmed a gun was found near the residence. Coroner Grant Davies stated that the police consider the death non-suspicious, with no evidence of third-party involvement.

Rosie was a first-year English Literature student at Durham University. The university community is mourning the loss of someone described as vibrant and talented.

Professor Wendy Powers, Principal of University College, paid tribute, saying Rosie was well-liked, full of creativity and energy, and passionate about literature, poetry, and travel. She added that Rosie had formed strong friendships and would be deeply missed.

Rosie’s family released a statement honoring her memory: “Darling daughter of Hugh and Pippa, incredible sister to Archie and Agatha, Granddaughter to Derek and Rae Long.” Their message reflected the deep sorrow they are experiencing.
