Prince Harry left ‘disappointed’ over Princess Diana’s sisters’
Prince Harry has often shared his belief that his late mother, Princess Diana, and his wife, Meghan Markle, share similar traits. In his 2022 Netflix documentary, Harry praised Meghan for her compassion and warmth, saying Diana would have been thrilled with his choice of partner. However, reports suggest not everyone who knew Diana agrees with this comparison. According to royal biographer Tom Bower, Diana’s sisters, Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Lady Jane Fellowes, did not see Meghan as a good fit for the royal family when they first met her. Harry was reportedly disappointed by their reaction.
Despite the initial skepticism, Harry and Meghan married in 2018 and now have two children. Recently, Meghan admitted feeling “incredibly lonely” amid reports that she and Harry are professionally parting ways to pursue their own projects. Meghan has launched several ventures, including a podcast and a lifestyle brand, while Harry remains focused on his own work. Although the couple is said to be establishing separate professional identities, this does not mean they are separating personally; they remain united in their personal life but are branching out professionally.
