Trump had bizarre response when asked

Donald Trump has given a surprisingly positive response to allegations of Elon Musk’s drug use while leading the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Musk announced he was stepping down from the role he took on in January, which had stirred backlash due to his push for slashing government programs. Meanwhile, The New York Times reported that Musk had allegedly used drugs like ketamine, ecstasy, and Adderall frequently last year, though it’s unclear if this was during his time with DOGE or in the 2024 campaign bid. Musk denied these allegations, calling them false and adding that he had only tried prescription ketamine in the past.

When asked about the allegations, Trump dismissed them, saying he was unaware and describing Musk as a “fantastic guy” who did a “fantastic job” in his government role. He added he was not troubled by any of the allegations and suggested Musk would still be involved with DOGE in the future. Trump praised Musk’s work and implied that Musk would remain connected to the project, even though his 130-day tenure as a special government employee has ended. UNILAD has reached out to Musk’s representatives and the White House for further comment.
