Trump Unleashes Scathing Attack on
During a heated press conference at the Oval Office on Thursday, former President Donald Trump launched a sharp attack on CNN anchor Kaitlan Collins, accusing her of bias and questioning her credibility. The tense exchange quickly made headlines as Trump criticized both Collins and her network with unfiltered remarks.
The confrontation arose during a briefing on the Russia-Ukraine conflict. While Trump was responding to another reporter’s question about whether he believed President Putin genuinely sought peace, Collins interjected, asking, “Do you trust President Putin?” Her question triggered a rapid back-and-forth that soon escalated into a full-blown clash.
Initially, Trump’s response was measured. “I believe that—yeah, I believe that he would like to see something happen. I think he would like to see something happen. I think it could have happened a long time ago,” he said, seemingly sidestepping the question. However, his tone quickly shifted when addressing Collins. With growing intensity, he accused her of having ties to his political opponent, former President Joe Biden. “I know he [Biden] is a friend of yours,” Trump remarked, his voice rising as he continued his criticism.
