Trump’s niece issues chilling warning to the US
Mary Trump, niece of Donald Trump and author of the memoir Too Much and Never Enough, expressed deep concerns about her uncle’s intentions as a political leader. In a recent interview with The Telegraph, she argued that Donald Trump is not only seeking a third term but might attempt to stay in power for life. She believes Trump is aware of the challenges of removing him from the presidency, especially after losing an election. Mary cited his past remarks about “loopholes” in the 22nd Amendment, noting that he might push boundaries to remain in power.
Mary also criticized the Democratic Party for failing to adequately prepare for Trump’s potential return to the White House. She argued that the Democrats misunderstood the political climate and lacked the urgency to address the possibility of Trump’s continued influence. She pointed out that globally, incumbents were losing by large margins, yet the Democrats remained complacent and unaware of the shifting dynamics. Mary believes Trump’s approach is a culmination of decades of Republican decline, and that American democracy is at risk if people don’t take his ambitions seriously.
